Our creative and passionate landscape designersĀ work closely with you to find out, firstly, what space will be used. Do you have children that need a play area? What about a vegetable garden? Is parking required? Your ideas and preferences will be used to work on a plan or design. If you aren’t sure what you want, we’ll generate ideas together!

We will carry out a full site survey so that we understand the space involved regarding its size and the current structures on it. We also survey the existing trees, if any, to ensure that no protected trees are affected.

When we know what you need in your outdoor area, we discuss the style of garden you’d like. Do you want a traditional country garden or a modern one, for example? This aspect is often determined by the style and size of your house or the buildings on site. For instance, a very contemporary garden may not be a good fit for a period or older house. However, the style of the house or building can be used as sources of inspiration rather than being viewed as a limitation.

Planning a garden, of course, includes any structures that you want to have included. For example, there may be decking, paving, ponds, water features, paths, retaining walls and so forth. The final stage of the planning and designing phase is the production of 3D visuals.

Once you are happy with the 3D visuals and designs, it’s time to choose the colour scheme and select the plants and trees that will be used. Some customers don’t want flowers at all but some prefer foliage types. Others enjoy architectural plants such as grasses. Yet others want a limited colour palette when it comes to flowers.

Once all of this has been decided, work can begin and your dream plans can become reality!

Our skilled landscape designers will begin by building or installing features that form part of the design of your new landscaped garden. These may include laying paving, building walls or retaining walls, installing water features, constructing raised flower beds or decking, putting up a trellis, installing a pergola, building a patio or installing lighting. The materials used may include timber, shingle, bricks, stone, gravel, pebbles, iron, tiles or flagstones.

If we need to call in specialists, such as an electrician or a plumber, to do any aspect of the work we remain fully involved in the project. This means that you can relax knowing that everything will be handled properly and according to the agreed plans and design. We also ensure that all work complies with Health and Safety and any relevant industry standards and codes.

Our gardeners take several factors into account when helping you to select the plants including the trees that will be used in your new, personalised outdoor space. Some of the considerations include climate, orientation of the site as this determines the amount of sun and shade the plants will receive. We also take the style, shape and size of plants into account so that the style and balance of your outdoor space remains unaltered as the plants mature.

We source the plants that will be used so that you don’t have to. They are then planted according to the agreed design and plan. The plants used form part of the structure and reinforce the style and structure of your garden. Once they are in the ground they are well watered in and fed to encourage strong growth.

Now your ideal garden has been created and you can enjoy it! But it doesn’t end there. Like all growing things gardens need maintenance and care. We are here to handle that for you, too.

We offer a range of garden maintenance and care services. And we offer total flexibility; you simply select the services that you require to keep your garden beautiful and healthy:
